About the Lake
A purpose built lake which sits at just over an acre. This lake is available to day ticket anglers looking for a fun days fishing, and is also available to hire for Matches (either part lake or exclusive hire). Pleasure anglers can fish a 12 hour day, whilst Matches are generally held as straight through, 5 hour sessions. You are sure to catch a few fish on this lake as it is very well stocked!
Match Lake was closed from November 2023 to April 2024 which allowed us to carry out extensive works, with Match Lake now featuring all new swims, a wider back bank, and a significant restocking! It is heavily stocked with carp from just a few ounces to over 12lb, and a small mix of other coarse fish to keep you on your toes! With regular catches exceeding 200lbs it's clear to see why we are considered one of the premier venues on the Kent and Sussex match circuit.
This lake is ideal for pole fishing and regular feeding is the key to big weights.
Available for exclusive hire for 20 anglers for £250 or part hire for £15 per head (minimum 10 anglers) and matches usually run from 10am to 3pm.
Please be aware that all of our lakes are annually treated with blue dye to prevent algae blooms throughout the Summer. This is usually carried out April/May depending on the weather. This treatment has absolutely no affect on fishing or catch rates.
How can i book?
Day ticket anglers do not need to book. If you are planning to visit at the weekend, we recommend calling the office to check this lake is not being hired for an exclusive match booking.
can i get a Refund?
All bookings are final; no refunds or moving of dates are allowed.
If you are unable to make your session or if you have to leave during your session for any reason, unfortunately we are unable to issue a refund. However, if adverse weather conditions occur that cause the lakes to become un-fishable please contact the office on the number below to reschedule your session.

How do i Book?
Day ticket anglers do not need to book. But please call the office on the number below to check there is not a match on first! Anglers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, (over 21).
